Junior Council


The Project Pay It Forward (PPIF) Junior Council is a group of diverse and unique young professionals and college students between the ages of 18-29 who believe and dedicate their lives to paying it forward in NYC by using their unique skills and special talents to make a difference.

The PPIF Junior Council works together as a team to implement the spirit of paying it forward and giving back in NYC by joining a network of people from all walks of life to make a positive impact.

The PPIF Junior Council brings together the voices of the future leaders, including college students and young professionals, to:

  • • Develop leadership skills and gain professional experience
  • • Participate in key decision-making efforts of the nonprofit organization
  • • Collaborate in joint efforts to strengthen and improve the community


The PPIF Junior Council works together on several important tasks including but not limited to: choosing potential recipients to receive a grant for their initiatives to pay it forward in NYC, nominating potential individuals to receive recognition for their efforts to help others, as well as several other important decision making efforts.

Each member of the PPIF Junior Council must commit 12 hours a month to the Junior Council and will need to participate in two to three in-person meetings per year with the other members of the PPIF Junior Council and with the leaders of PPIF program.

Who We Are

Project Pay It Forward inspires the youth to make a positive change by focusing on their special skills, unique talents and passions to make a difference in their community. PPIF is a program of Student Body of America Association, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

What We Do

Project Pay it Forward encourages paying it forward and promotes positive youth development through easily accessible character education, resources, video, interactive platforms, grant opportunities, community events and more!

How People Benefit

Project Pay It Forward programs help individuals gain a sense of belonging, instill a sense of community as well as promote the spirit of paying it forward and giving back, so that the community as a whole can benefit and thrive.
